The Junior School Annual Exhibition was organized at Chapslee Public School, Lakkar Bazaar, today in the school premises, wherein the chief guest School Principal Pronati Singh appreciated the efforts of the students as well as the teachers for putting up a remarkable exhibition. The event saw around 150 students exhibiting models, artifacts and interesting science experiments, loved by the parents and guests. Students made projects on concepts such as starch, soluble and insoluble liquids, fruit residues and much more. The teachers and the students also came up with a unique idea of power point presentation showing the activities that took place throughout the year.
The noval presentation was prepared by Prodyuman Vashisht with the help of his teacher Sheetal Bhardwaj. Telling us about the presentation, Prodyuman said, “I would like to show you the snapshots of interesting as well as fun learning activities that took place in the junior school throughout the year. It includes Sports Day Celebrations, Mother’s Day, Teacher’s Day Celebration, in which the entire school was shown the live telecast of Prime Minister Modi’s Speech and much more”.
The English Department gave out the message of “Reading is a Good Habit” and showcased books, magazines, newsletters, encyclopaedia, dictionaries, thesaurus and novels, thus encouraging students to read as books have always been a man’s best friend. Names of a few students displaying the books were Samriti, Stuti, Priyanshi, Anubha, Chirag Kaul, Rajat, Vaibhav and Gaurav.
The students came up with very fascinating and innovative projects. There were beautiful art and craft pieces prepared by tiny tots of classes Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Talking to a few students who enthusiastically took the responsibility of explaining different science projects, Astha Kanwar told us about the migratory agricultural village and said, “People prefer to live in villages only for a few years and then migrate to cities to improve their standard of living. This is a part of our syllabus and with help of our teachers we have made this model which makes us understand the topic in a better way”.
Other demonstrations and projects included, settlements from early period to modern period by Saumya, Neha Shrama, R.N Shrilalitha and Sachin Verma; urban settlement by Harman; soluble and insoluble liquids by Aryan and Dhruv.
Talking to parents who had come to encourage and see the fruits of their children’s hard work, Mrs Dipta said, “Every time we come to the exhibition we get to see something new and innovative. The hard work and dedication of the students can be clearly seen in the innovative works exhibited here today”. Another proud parent Mrs Kaul said, “My son has made a traffic rules model, he had been learning the explanation speech since last few days. I have taken a few pictures of him as these moments are very precious for us as parents”.
The exhibition was indeed unique since it embraced analytical, artistic, culinary talents of all the students and received huge praises from all who came to see !!!
