Auckland House School for Girls, Shimla, celebrated its Senior Section Sports Day with great energy, enthusiasm, and wholehearted participation. The event was graced by Surinder Chauhan, Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation, as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal and Councillor Meena Chauhan, whose presence served as a source of encouragement for the students.
The event began with a grand March Past, followed by captivating performances in Gymnastics, Karate, Yoga, Aerobics, and PT Drills. The school’s NCC contingent and Pipe Band marched with precision to the stirring tune of Iktara, adding a ceremonial flair to the occasion.
The athletic segment of the day saw students competing in events such as Soft Ball, High Jump, Shot Put, Relay Races, and Tug of War, with additional events for staff and guests contributing to the festive spirit.
