In a thoughtful gesture towards ensuring safety and hygiene, RCS Hill Queens promptly responded to a request from DDU Hospital for 35 pairs of gum boots required for their sanitary workers. Recognizing the critical role these frontline workers play in maintaining cleanliness in a high-risk environment, club members swiftly arranged and handed over the boots, reinforcing their commitment to community service and worker safety.

Providing protective gear such as gum boots is essential in a hospital setting, where sanitary workers are regularly exposed to health hazards. This timely support not only ensures their well-being but also reflects the spirit of service upheld by the club.

Marking the auspicious occasion of Navratri, RCS Hill Queens also conducted a heartfelt outreach project titled “Nanhi Muskan” at DDU Hospital. Navratri, a time to honor the divine feminine energy of Maa Durga, served as a meaningful backdrop to celebrate the innocence and purity of children—often regarded as manifestations of the divine.

As part of the initiative, nutritional kits and baby care sets were lovingly distributed to mothers and newborns in the hospital. The nutritional kits included ghee, instant daliya, rusk, and bananas, ensuring nourishment for the new mothers. Each baby set comprised essential items, including knitted clothing crafted with care by Rtn. Subhadra Sood and her family, along with a packet of baby diapers.

The project brought smiles and comfort to families during a sacred time, reflecting the club’s deep empathy and dedication to uplifting the community.

RCS Hill Queens extends heartfelt gratitude to all members and supporters who contributed to this noble cause, helping bring joy, dignity, and care to both frontline workers and new mothers during this meaningful celebration.
