An awareness workshop aimed at strengthening the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) ecosystem in Himachal Pradesh was organised by the Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, on September 26, 2025, at the Himachal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Gondpur Industrial Area, Paonta Sahib. The event brought together over 65 participants, including key dignitaries such as Sakshi Satti (GM, DIC Sirmour), Gur Pyaare (Member Secretary, Kala Amb), Ashok Parth (Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, Solan), Satish K. Goel (Chairman, HCCI), and Alok Kumar (SIDBI). Officials shared key insights into government initiatives like the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), the Greening of MSMEs initiative, and the RAMP scheme, all aimed at promoting competitiveness, sustainability, and productivity in the MSME sector. The workshop also focused on cluster-based development and circular economy approaches, reaffirming the state’s commitment to fostering a resilient and innovative industrial ecosystem.
