Deputy Chief Whip Stresses Wildlife Protection

Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania visited the Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Rajasthan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. The park is home to around 150 species of native and migratory birds and over 200 species of butterflies, making it a key ecological zone and a favorite among nature lovers.

During his visit, Pathania explored various wildlife habitats and expressed deep interest in understanding the natural ecosystems of the park. He emphasized the critical importance of protecting such biodiversity hotspots and preserving them for future generations.

“Keoladeo National Park is not just a tourist attraction but also a vital resource for researchers, students, and environmentalists,” he said. He commended the efforts of the park management in conserving wildlife and maintaining ecological balance.

Pathania urged collective responsibility in preserving such natural heritage sites, stressing that everyone has a role to play in environmental protection.
