The Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025), hosted by Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, concluded successfully, marking a notable milestone in global research on image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent information systems. The three-day conference emphasized the integration of science, engineering, and emerging technologies to tackle modern societal challenges and drive sustainable innovation.
The event brought together leading researchers, academicians, and industry experts from India and abroad to share advancements, discuss emerging trends, and explore collaborative opportunities.
ICIIP–2025 was inaugurated on 27 November 2025, under the presidency of Prof. R. K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, JUIT, with Prof. L. D. Behera, Director, IIT Mandi, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Prof. Behera highlighted the transformative potential of AI-driven imaging technologies and encouraged participants to push the boundaries of innovation.
The conference saw participation from Deans, Heads of Departments, senior faculty, and delegates, and was organized by a dedicated committee led by Prof. Vivek Sehgal (Head, CSE & IT, JUIT), Dr. Amit Jakhar (Conference General Chair), and Dr. Arvind Kumar (Conference General Co-chair), with support from faculty and staff across the University.
