Shimla Presidency School Holds Annual Day

Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (Innovation, Digital Technologies & Governance) to the Chief Minister, presided over the Annual Day function of Shimla Presidency School at Haridevi, Ghanatti, held on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, he praised the school management and staff for their sustained efforts in delivering quality and value-based education. He appreciated the institution for balancing academic excellence with the holistic development of students and encouraged learners to strive for success with confidence, discipline and commitment.

Gokul Butail said that several reforms introduced by the present state government in the education sector are yielding positive outcomes, helping the state emerge as a model in education. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing quality education to every child and to equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to meet future challenges.

Motivating the students, he urged them to dream big, learn with dedication and excel in academics as well as co-curricular activities. On the occasion, he honoured meritorious students by distributing prizes and certificates.

The programme also featured vibrant cultural performances by students, showcasing their talent, creativity and confidence, which were widely appreciated by the Chief Guest and the audience. Members of the school management, administration, teachers, students and parents were present on the occasion.
