Martyrs’ Day : Governor Honors Mahatma Gandhi

A tribute meeting was held at Lok Bhavan on the martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, where Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla paid floral tributes to his portrait in the Darbar Hall. The Governor also remembered Gandhi’s teachings and his immense contribution to the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Shukla said that Mahatma Gandhi led India to freedom by following the path of truth and non-violence. He emphasized that Gandhiji’s message is even more relevant today, as the world grapples with conflict and intolerance.

The Governor added that the country will always be grateful to Gandhi for leading one of the world’s largest non-violent movements, demonstrating the power of non-violence in bringing social and political change. He noted that Gandhi’s ideals continue to inspire people and guide society toward peace, justice, and harmony.
