Dy. CM Lays Foundations for Village Development

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today laid foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs. 25 crore in the Nalagarh Assembly constituency, emphasizing the government’s focus on timely execution and citizen welfare.

At Malpur in Kashmirpur Gram Panchayat, he inaugurated 11 tube-well-based irrigation schemes costing Rs. 13.36 crore, which will benefit 11 villages across 9 Gram Panchayats, including Gurdaspura, Malpur, Dugri, Sallewal, Mastanpura, Ratyod, Saudi Gujjaran, Nangal Dhakka, Nangal Kuhal-1, Nangal Kuhal-2, and Bhatoli.

Earlier, the Deputy Chief Minister laid the foundation for the office and residential complex of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Baddi at Nalagarh, a project estimated at Rs. 11.24 crore. He highlighted the importance of clean water access as a fundamental right, noting that the state government is implementing 120 drinking water schemes covering all 758 habitations and 170 irrigation schemes under the Nalagarh Jal Shakti Division.

Mukesh Agnihotri also inaugurated the renovated Heritage Cafe at Heritage Park Nalagarh, built by the Nalagarh Heritage Society. MLA Hardeep Singh Bawa provided an update on the development initiatives and ongoing efforts to address constituency issues.
