The Trust has been formed solely for charitable purpose and shall look after the following activities:
- To run / operate / publish KEEKLI An Ode Innocence — a bilingual, monthly newspaper registered with the RNI (Registrar of Newspapers of India, New Delhi). Also to run/ operate / publish KEEKLI website — www.keekli.in.
- All / any activities under the NEWSPAPER / WEBSITE, will now come under the ambit of the KEEKLI CHARITABLE TRUST.
- Educational – to run, maintain or assist any educational or other institutions for coaching, guidance, counselling or vocational training or to grant individual scholarships for poor, deserving and needy students for elementary and higher education.
- To provide funds for the education of downtrodden children and for their upliftment.
- To facilitate vocational training for the needy students.
- Medical – to run, maintain or assist any medical institution, nursing homes or clinics or to grant assistance to the needy and indigent for meeting the cost of their medical treatment.
- Relief to Poor – to give financial or other assistance in kind by way of distribution of books, notebooks, clothes, uniforms, or meals for the poor and indigent and to the persons suffering due to natural calamities.
- To utilise property for public good by making it available for public purposes such as housing a library, clinic, crèche and/or as a community hall to be available for public use as training classes, seminars, discourses and other public functions for benefit of the community in general.
