HPS.KAITHU.15.10 (20)It is not wrong to say that creativity is no man’s inherited property as students of Himalayan Public School, Kaithu, proved is right by exhibiting their amazing talent and inspiring creativity during an Art and Craft Exhibition held here today, in the school premises.

The exhibition was at par with best schools in city and they proved that it’s not the brand but substance and inculcated values that matters in shaping the mind of the students. During the exhibition the artifacts left spectators spell bounded with the available variety. Students from Classes Nursery to Ninth as per their level of development gave their best shot and presented an amazing show compelling people to possess almost every second item on display.

The peacock made from plastic spoons and ear buds or lamp shades made out of wool or paper cut lamp shades, greeting cards, cut flowers, flower vase made out of plastic bottles, crocodiles from old newspapers, pen holders, wall hangings, painted T-shirts, cushions, glass paintings, woven baskets, CD cats, rice dolls and what not was exhibited during the show.

HPS.KAITHU.15.10 (12)Cheerful students were enthusiastic and were eager to help anyone interested in making any craft item. They all very nicely presented the show and explained each model to the spectators.

On the other hand if we talk about the Science exhibition, here too students demonstrated extraordinary combination of brains and practical knowledge. Working models like hydraulic bride and crane were presented on one hand whereas on the other models based item were visible showcasing various human body parts such as eyes, heart, and our digestive system.

Principal of the school Bandana Goswami was very pleased with the exhibits and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers who made the show a grand success. The day turned out to be fulfilling for all as each one reaped the fruits of their labour as no reward is greater than that of acknowledgement and appreciation.
