Annual days are the most awaited days for the parents as this is the day when they get an opportunity to see their little ones face the world without fear and outshine all. Parents of North Oak Public School’s students shared a proud moment as they saw their little ones presenting a cultural programme in the school premises for the first time during the Annual Day Celebrations titled BLOOMS.
Speaking on the occasion, Director-Principal Namita Lal said, “When the school started I promised parents one thing and that was best of education and I hope that I have managed to deliver it. Education is not just grades and books but its knowledge and I hope as parents you all can see the difference in your children. The emphasis is also on the overall personality development of the children. I hope together we will continue to grow and provide them with confidence to face the world by having first hand practical knowledge of life rather than counting simply on books.”
Little ones enacted a fairy tale “Red Riding Hood” and transported all to the land of fantasy and fun. All the students exhibited their best skills and won hearts of all through their confidence and cuteness.
Next came a Butterfly dance where in the tiny tots cutely presented a theme based dance where a girl child was compared to a colorful butterfly and her innocent dreams to soar high for achieving new heights is realised. Little ones also were dressed as different fruits, animals, and elements and each one spoke of their importance for one to survive.
A small thought provoking skit based on the utility of water was also presented by the students. They forced the spectators to pounder over the fact that how we take things for granted and misuse our natural resources. Water is becoming a scarce commodity and this was further emphasized by the changes in temperature and global warming. Students delivered a strong message that we should save water and educate all to do the same as well. (CLICK TO SEE ALL VIDEOS)
The day ended on a happy note with the National Anthem.
