Dr Gopal Ashish Sharma, District Programme Officier, Department of Health and Family Welfare was invited alongwith his team of doctors from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, to hold a talk on drugs for the boys. Dr Sharma briefed the students about the ill-effects of drugs.
The students activiely participated in this interactive session as a question answers round was held during which details were discussed by the team of doctors. School Principal Micheal A John said that from time to time such seminars are held in the school to apprise the students of the harmfull affects of drugs.
Superb coverage on an important campain in the current scenerio where so many chilldren are being pushed into this drug addiction.Lack of knowledge about the bad effects of the drug addiction on health and the future of children lead them to go on this track.Such campains need to be highlighted so that Children are aware of this topic and can protect themselves from getting trapped into this.
