Call for Nominations for the 2022 Unesco Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education – last date May 20, 2022

Each of the two laureates of the 2022 prize will receive an award of US$ 50,000.

At a time when the covid-19 pandemic is continuing to affect education and amplify inequalities worldwide, particularly gender inequalities, initiatives and good practices that support education for girls and women are especially valuable.

To reward remarkable projects and programmes in this domain, the UNESCO Executive Board created the prize in 2015, with the financial support of the Peopl’es Republic of China.
