Colourful P.T. Display by Students of Auckland House School for Boys

The Middle Section Sports Day of Auckland House School for Boys was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur on as the chief guest for the occasion was Prof Sanjay Sharma, Chairman, Physical Education Department, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The programme began with the Guard of Honour, followed by the March Past wherein all four houses of the School namely Durrant, French, Lefroy and Matthew participated. Students marched smartly to the tune of the Pipe Band. The March Past was followed by colourful P.T. displays by students of Classes III to V.

This was followed by a mesmerising Yoga display along with the students showing their adeptness and their flexibility in Gymnastics. The programme continued with the children participating in exciting races and musical chair which brought a smile to the proud parents sitting in the audience. Last but not the least it was the skating event which received maximum applause as the little boys of Auckland House were seen gliding on their colourful wheels.

The sports day came to an end with the much awaited prize distribution. This was followed by few words of encouragement by the esteemed Chief Guest. The Sports Shield went to Durrant House and the Marching Cup was won by Lefroy House.
