H.P Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has received an award of appreciation for the development of consumer friendly web portal i.e. State government project by computer society of India SIG e-Governance Awards. The award was received by Chairman, H.P RERA, Dr. Srikant Baldi in New Delhi on 25th March, 2023. While appreciating the efforts of the officials of RERA, Dr. Baldi said that  this Citizen Centric and Friendly Web Portal  is a simple, transparent and consumer friendly Web Portal. It was designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) H.P., with the active guidance and support of Omidyar Network &Praxil Global Alliance.

He said that it was developed to help all stakeholders i.e. General Public (home buyers/ allottees) Promoters and Agents. This Web Portal consists of four modules namely online registration of real estate projects, real estate agents, online filing of Quarterly/ Annual progress reports, complaints filing by aggrieved persons and pre/post registration facility,  said  Dr. Baldi.  The users can access the real time information about the Real Estate Projects i.e. location, status, availability of plots, apartments and commercial units through this website https://hprera.nic.in/  and each project can easily be located on google map by adding coordinates by any person, said the Chairman..

He said that this web portal provides 24X7 accessibility and online registration besides facility of filing Quarterly/Annual Progress reports online. The fees for the registration of the project could be paid online through E-payment gateway and the whole information regarding the registration of project/ filing of QPR/APR is also available on the dashboard of this website. It also provides Pre/Post registration facilitation for taking NOCs/sanctions/permission from various departments/corporations. People can file their grievances online and the orders/decisions of the Authority will be uploaded on the web portal for easy downloads, said Dr. Baldi. He further said that this endeavour of H.P RERA would go a long way in facilitating all the stakeholders, promoters and the general public without visiting the RERA office physically.
