Matthew House Dominates Auckland House School’s Exciting Dance Contest

Auckland House School for Boys hosted an electrifying Inter House Dance Competition on August 8th, 2023. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from four competing Houses: Durrant, French, Lefroy, and Matthew House. The theme of the competition was ‘Relationship’, captivating the audience with expressive performances.

Esteemed judges, including Mrs. Manita Sharma, Mrs. Rosy Gupta, and Mrs. Disha Sharma, all faculty members of Auckland House School, had the tough task of evaluating the exceptional talents showcased by the students.

The auditorium resonated with cheers as the boys from all four Houses displayed their remarkable dance skills, interpreting the theme with creativity and passion. The judges were in awe of their performances and commended their dedication.

In a thrilling conclusion, Matthew House secured the first position, impressing the judges with their synchronization and emotive expressions. Durrant House earned the well-deserved second position, while French House showcased its talent to clinch the third position.

Adding to the excitement, Arhaan Rohta’s remarkable dancing skills earned him the title of the overall best dancer of the competition. The event concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem.

The Auckland House School for Boys yet again showcased the talent and enthusiasm of its students through this spectacular dance competition, underscoring the importance of art and creativity in education.
