Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over the last cultural evening of the International Lavi Fair-2024 at Rampur in district Shimla on Thursday late evening and released a souvenir. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap honoured the Chief Minister with a Himachali shawl and cap. The final cultural evening featured mesmerizing performances by playback singers Mahalaxmi Iyer and Shriram Iyer, captivating the audience.
The Chief Minister was honoured by the employees who have been covered under the old pension scheme. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, APMC Shimla Chairman Dev Anand Verma, Shimla Zila Parishad President Chandraprabha Negi, Congress leader Buddhi Singh Thakur, Rampur Nagar Parishad President Muskan, SP Sanjeev Gandhi and other dignitaries were also present at the event.
