“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow” – a famous quote by Albert Einstien, holds so true as we see our children grow up year after year. The first step towards growth and grooming of our little kids is seen as they perform on the stage during annual events. An amazing cultural show was put up by the Junior Wing of St Thomas School, Shimla, as Principal Swaran Public School Seema Mehta graced the occasion, who was warmly greeted by the School Principal Vidhupriya Chakarvarty and the students.

The event began with a prayer dance, followed by the principal’s address and a visual media presentation outlining the activities and progress of the children as followed by the school. School principal said, “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and best hope for the future, they are the precious pearls of the society and building blocks of a strong nation.” She further added that they are the centre of everything, and our institution constantly engages them by providing them a conducive environment.

All the students from Nursery to Class II, participated in one or the other dance items namely, the rainbow dance; retro look; hokey pokey; Bihu and the Rajasthani Dance, a classical fusion as well the famous Himachali Natti. Each one was loudly applauded by the parents as they saw their kids perform beautifully on the stage. (CLICK TO SEE ALL VIDEOS)
