Auckland House School for Boys, Shimla, witnessed an electrifying event on March 23, 2024, as it hosted the Inter House Hindi Elocution Competition. Students from the Durrant, French, Lefroy, and Matthew Houses showcased their oratory skills with fervor and passion.

Esteemed judges, including Mrs. Harsha from St. Thomas’ School, Mrs. Shalini Suyal from Auckland House School, and Mr. V.S. Bhardwaj from Bishop Cotton School, graced the event. Their expertise added depth to the competition, providing insightful feedback to the participants.

The eloquent performances mesmerized the audience and judges alike, demonstrating the power of the Hindi language in conveying emotions with simplicity and grace. The judges lauded the students’ efforts, acknowledging Hindi’s expressive nature.

Ultimately, Lefroy House emerged victorious, securing the first position. French and Matthew House shared the second position in a thrilling tie, while Durrant House secured the fourth position. Ansh Chopra’s exceptional oratory skills earned him the title of Overall Best Speaker. Mr. Reuben T. John, Principal of Auckland House School for Boys, extended his gratitude to all participants, judges, and organizers for making the event a resounding success.
