Chief Minister Inaugurates HPTDC Hotel Kyari Bungalow

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today virtually inaugurated newly constructed HPTDC hotel Kyari Bungalow in Solan district from Chamba. Chief Minister said Rs. 37.60 crore HPTDC hotel Kyari Bungalow would be a splendid attraction for the tourists visiting Shimla as the hotel was situated between Solan- Shimla highway and having moderate climate conditions.

Chief Minister said the construction of hotel Kyari Bungalow was started in the year September 2018 with the financial assistance of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. “This was done under the Swadesh Darshan scheme and has been built as a convention Centre. The project has been completed in September this year at a total cost of Rs.37.60 crore.  Out of this the government of India has given Rs.25 crore and the State Government has given Rs.12.60 crore”, said the Chief Minister. The total built-up area of the hotel is 9291 square metres and has 34 well furnished rooms and a huge dormitory. It also has a convention Hall with the sitting capacity of 350 persons, also a seminar hall for 65 persons. It also has an open air Cafe and restaurant to cater to the needs of the guests. It also has a SPA with an area of 330 square meters and a gym.

It has a huge parking facility in the basement. He said that this location is ideal for holding conferences, business meets, leisure, holidays, conventions, destination weddings. In the area of Kyarighat many educational institutions have come up and this hotel would also cater to their needs. State BJP president Suresh Kashyap, Deputy Speaker Vidhan Sabha Hans Raj, Chairman Wool Federation Trilok Kapoor, State BJP Organizing Secretary Pawan Rana and Deputy Commissioner Chamba D.C. Rana remained present with the Chief Minister at Chaamba whereas Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, BJP Solan Mandal Chairman Madan Thakur, Members state BJP executive committee Dr. Rajesh Kashyap and Ravinder Parihar, Managing Director HPTDC Amit Kashyap and Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari virtually attended the inaugural event from Solan.
