A two day Advocacy cum Capacity Building Workshop was held for the Principals and Teachers of four H.P. Zones of DAV Public Schools here today at Dayanand Public School, The Mall, Shimla. Dr. Rashmi Chari, Assistant Director DCAE, was the resource person for the workshop. The workshop was also attended by the Regional Directors of the four zones. Shashi Kiran Gupta, Principal-Dayanand Public School, Shimla and Regional Director – Zone II, P. Sofat – Regional Director – Zone I, S.P. Arora of Zone III and Rama Parwan of Zone V. More than 35 Principals and teachers participated in the workshop.
The programme started with a formal welcome by Shashi Kiran Gupta and the lighting of the lamp by the resource person and the regional directors. After that the sessions were taken subject wise, aiming at the excellence of the trainees in English, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Computer Science and EEDP.
