Applying for name changes or corrections in Himachal Pradesh’s e-Gazette will soon be entirely digital. According to a spokesperson for the HP Printing & Stationery Department, the process—previously handled offline—is transitioning completely to the online Single Window Clearance System starting November 15, 2026.
After the November 15 deadline, offline paper applications will no longer be accepted. Applicants must submit their details, supporting documents, and required payments directly through the digital portal. Applicants are urged to verify all entries carefully before submitting, as all portal fees are non-refundable. For those using Common Service Centres (CSCs) for application assistance, a processing fee of ₹50 plus GST will apply, while the core departmental publication charge remains fixed at ₹120.
