Epic Sports Day in Shimla! Auckland House Boys Set the Field on Fire

Auckland House School for Boys witnessed an electrifying celebration of sportsmanship, energy, and young talent during its much-anticipated Upper Primary Section Sports Day 2025. Held on a bright morning at 10:00 A.M., the event opened with a majestic Guard of Honour followed by a thunderous March-Past by the four houses – French, Matthew, Lefroy, and the champions of the day, Durrant House.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Reetu Sharma (Principal, Loreto Convent Tara Hall), along with Guest of Honour, Mr. Michael A. John, and Director Principal Ms. Smaraki Samantaroy, added prestige and pride to the occasion.

From aerobics and yoga to jaw-dropping gymnastics, flag P.T., skating displays, and fun-packed races like Musical Chair, every event had the crowd on its feet. The skating event, in particular, turned into a showstopper, earning roars of applause and going viral on social platforms.

The highlight of the day? Vihaan Thakur from Class IV being crowned as the Best Athlete, proving age is no limit to excellence.

The air buzzed with excitement as Durrant House lifted both the Sports Shield and Marching Cup, thanks to their unmatched energy and perfect coordination.

In his heartfelt vote of thanks, Principal Reuben T. John praised the dedication of students, the tireless efforts of teachers, and the unwavering support of parents. The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving hearts full of pride and memories etched in every attendee’s mind.
