Ashima Sharma, 11th July, 2014, Shimla
We always hear from our teachers that School is a place to study not to have a gala time. But once a year, there comes a day when students have the freedom to enjoy, they dress in their best clothes and come to school just to have a gala time. The students of Arya Samaj School, Shimla got an opportunity to enjoy and celebrate their Fresher’s Day on 11th July, 2014, when students of Class 12th welcomed the new batch of Class 11th with immense pleasure.
Several splendid performances were put up by the girls of Class 12. Dance performance by Tanuja, Swati, Usha, Shilpa on a famous number by Honey Singh made the girls cheer out loud for their friends. This was followed by singing of well-known songs of Bollywood movies which included Qayamat by Nikita Raghuvanshi, Muskuraane ki Wajah by Sapna Negi, and Hale-dil by Meghna. The last performance by Achla Sharma made the entire hall dance to the tunes of Baby Doll.
