Governor Applauds Tibetan Contribution to State

A delegation from the Tibetan community, headed by Lhakpa Tsering, Chief Representative of the Central Tibetan Administration in Shimla, met Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan today.

During the meeting, the Governor emphasized the long-standing and cordial relationship between Himachal Pradesh and the Tibetan community. He noted that the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala has brought global recognition to the state. He described the Dalai Lama’s life as a symbol of compassion, non-violence, peace, and universal welfare, adding that his teachings continue to inspire people worldwide.

The Governor also commended the Tibetan community for its valuable contributions to the state’s social, cultural, and economic progress.

On the occasion, Lhakpa Tsering felicitated the Governor. Senior officials from Lok Bhavan were also in attendance.
