Himachal’s Handicrafts & Organic Farming to Shine in Norway

Kewal Singh Pathania MLA and Deputy Chief Whip, who is also the Senior Vice President of Power Lifting India and President of HP Powerlifting Association, called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at New Delhi today.

He apprised the Chief Minister that PowerLifting India has nominated him as Manager of the Indian PowerLifting Team of 80 Indian players who would participate in the World Classic & Equipped Bench Press Championship to be held at Drammen, Norway from 17th to 24th May, 2025.

He said that 82 countries are participating in this event and added that he had earlier visited US, Germany, Canada, UK, Dubai and Hong Kong with the team.

He informed the Chief Minister that he would spread awareness about Himachali handicrafts and organic farming during his visit to Norway. Chief Minister congratulated him for the honour and added that it was an honour to the state too.
