NIELIT Delhi Hosts Yuva Rojgar Mela 2026

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, organized its annual Job Fair – “Yuva Rojgar Mela” on 21 February 2026 at NIELIT Delhi’s office in Janakpuri, New Delhi. The fair aimed to provide placement opportunities for NIELIT students and alumni, with 15 companies shortlisting candidates against over 1,000 job openings. More than 750 candidates registered for the event.

The event was inaugurated by Thalluru Sudhir, Sub-Regional Employment Officer, Directorate General of Employment, who was welcomed by Sheetal Chopra, Director In-Charge, NIELIT Delhi. In his address, Sudhir appreciated NIELIT Delhi’s continuous efforts in organizing the job fair and acknowledged the participating companies for their support in bridging the skill gap and facilitating employment.

Placement desks were set up for leading companies including Siddhi Infonet India Pvt Ltd, PAYTM, Just Dial, Bajaj Capital, Hello Money India Pvt Ltd, HDB Financial Services, My Money Mantra, V5 Global, Axis Bank, Vision Plus Security Control Ltd, Hiringplay Pvt Ltd, Eureka Forbes Ltd, Sonbarsa Financial Services and Consultant Pvt Ltd, 3I Infotech, and Axis Max Life Insurance.

Over the years, NIELIT has established itself as a premier institution in Information, Electronics, and Communication Technology (IECT) and emerging technologies. It operates a nationwide network of 55+ own and extension centers and collaborates with 8,500+ training partners. NIELIT Ropar has been granted the status of Deemed to Be University, with 11 constituent units across India, including Aizawl, Agartala, Aurangabad, Calicut, Gorakhpur, Imphal, Itanagar, Kekri, Kohima, Patna, and Srinagar.

The Yuva Rojgar Mela reflects NIELIT’s commitment to holistic student support, including capacity building, skill development, and employment facilitation. NIELIT plans to continue organizing such job fairs to connect its students and alumni with diverse employment opportunities across industries.
