The annual Sood Mela 2013, organized by the Managing Committee, Sood Sabha Shimla helped reveal few brilliant painters aged 6 to 16 years via their painting competition held today at Sri Ram Mandir Hall, Shimla. The artistic radiance was very much evident in the stroke of the young participants. Praful Kuthiala, President, Sood Sabha Shimla said, that the Managing Committee organized such events for the Sood Community every year for children. He said, “This would help the children in showcasing their talent and the winners would be awarded a Rolling Trophy. Winning the competition thrice in a row would make them permanent recipient of the trophy. By arranging such competitions we try to bring out the hidden talent of our children and the themes given to them help in creating awareness among them regarding issues that are important in today’s scenario.”
