President of India, Droupadi Murmu was given a rousing reception on her arrival at Shimla today. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu accorded a warm welcome to the President at Kalyani helipad.
Speaker, Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, who has also been designated as the minister-in-waiting for the visit of the President, Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, DGP Dr. Atul Verma, Principal Secretary, General Administration Devesh Kumar and other senior officers of the State Government and Army were also present on the occasion.
