Raj Bhavan Resonates with Cultural Program

A cultural program ‘Swar Manjari’ was organized at Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Students of Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College of Fine Arts, Chaura Maidan, Shimla gave an impressive performance on the occasion. On the occasion, the Governor said,” Himachal Pradesh has rich culture and traditions. But, the folk music, theatrical and dance here is equally advanced. It is a matter of contentment that the College of Fine Arts is making significant contributions in this direction and the purpose of such a program is to encourage these young artists.”

Justice Chandra Bhushan Barowalia, Judge, Himachal Pradesh High Court, P.S.Rana, Chairman, Human Rights Commission, Satya Kaundal, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla, Virendra Kashyap, former Member of Parliament and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. On the occasion, an art exhibition was also organized.
