Revised result of NEET re-test candidates declared

National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the revised result of 1563 re-test candidates and revision of rank of all candidates of NEET(UG) 2024. A re-test was organised after the controversy over grace marks given to several candidates in the NEET exam held on May 5, 2024.

The retest was held on June 23 for the candidates who were given grace marks. The official notice from NTA states, “Pursuant to the Order dated 13.06.2024 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (Civil) No. 368 of 2024 a Re-Test was held for 1563 candidates on 23 June 2024 from 02.00 P.M. to 05.20 P.M, out of which a total of 813 candidates appeared therein.”

After the Re-Test, provisional Answer Keys and scanned copy of OMR Answer Sheets alongwith Recorded Responses of 813 Candidates (who had appeared in the re-test on 23 June 2024) were displayed to them vide Public Notice dated 28 June 2024, inviting challenges thereto from them.

The challenges received were verified by the experts and the results were processed as per the answer keys finalised by the experts. Final Answer Keys of the Re-Test have been published. on the website (https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/).

“It is now informed that revised Score Cards of all Candidates of NEET(UG) 2024 (including of 1563 Candidates who appeared in the Re-Test on 23 June 2024), are being hosted on the website (https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/), Candidates can login to the website and view/download/print their respective revised Score Cards,” the official notification reads.
