The Annual Senior Section Sports Meet held at Savitiri Public School near Talland, Shimla, as Dr Usha Chandra, presided over the function as the chief guest, here today. School Principal Dr Asha Malhotra welcomed the chief guest and declared the meet open. Students of classes 6th to 10th gave few brilliant performances. Staff members present during the event were Meena Kaundal, Uma Garg, Mamta, Seema, Manju, Neelam, Bhavna to name a few among others.
The winners in shot Put were Nitish and Ranvir, while in Long Jump Nitish and Ravinder stood first and second respectively. In Long Jump Girls, the winners were Ravina and Parul, in Shot Put Gunjan was awarded first place and in High Jump Parul stood first. In House Competitions, in Kabbadi Sadan House was the winner. In indoor games, girls excelled in Chess as Mitali stood first while for boys Ranvir was first. In Carrom Shivani bagged the gold medal.
