Shimla Nursing College Girls Bid Adieu to Follow their New Dreams

Shimla Nursing College, celebrated Farewell Party – 2019 with the theme – Hasta-Le-Vista Good Bye – successfully at Keonthal Complex Banquet Hall, Khalini, Shimla. The chief guest for the function was Dr Krishna Chauhan, Principal, Shimla Nursing College along with Dr. Kimi Sood, Secretary, Shimla Nursing College cum Councilor MC Shimla Benmore Ward. The guest of honor of the occasion was Ramesh Chand Sood, Chairman Shimla Nursing College along with other dignitaries along with around teaching and non-teaching staff and around 300 nursing students.

The day commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the guests, followed by a solo dance performance by Damini of B.Sc, Nursing first year. The students lit up the atmosphere by a Bhangra presented by Riya Manral and group of B.Sc Nursing second year class. The modeling session and title distribution performed by a total 75 students was quite entertaining. Next was was a solo song presented by twin sisters Ritika and Pritika, followed by Gidda performed by Priyanka and her group. Then Bollywood and Bhangra mix dance by Parul and her group was applauded by all.

The second modeling session by selected candidates from final year students was followed by the various interesting games for the girls. Finally the most awaited moment of “Ms Farewell – 2019” of Shimla Nursing College was declared and winners were crowned by the chief guest Dr. Chauhan and Dr. Sood.

The day ended with the final performance as the girls danced on the Pahari Natti.
