Three-Day Book Fair Organized by Thomas’ School

A book will always keep you company, and inculcating a habit of reading at an early age will always help you as you grow old. Students of St Thomas School spent a delightful morning among books as the school management organized a three day Scholastic Book Fair in the school premises dated 5th, 7th and 8th July. The inaugural session of the fir was done by the students of Kindergarten Class.

StThomas.BookFair.5.7 (9)A story telling session was conducted by Shikha Sood, Resource Consultant from Scholastic India, Punjab. She was responsible for product training and research developments and for the induction of new concepts in the Academic programmes for Scholastic India. A post graduate in sociology from the Punjab University, Shikha is a trained story teller and has rich experience in this field. She is also a home maker and the mother of a son. Her main interest and passion is reading and doing things in a unique and creative manner.

Students of classes Kindergarten to Three were a part of this activity. To further promote reading and create incentive a gift on every purchase was given to the students. The fair will be open to parents on 7th and 8th of July.
