Mario Day, celebrated globally on March 10 (Mar10), honors the legendary Nintendo video game character Mario. The date is chosen because “Mar10” resembles the name “Mario,” making it a clever nod to the character. Fans and gamers around the world mark the day by playing Mario games, creating fan art, dressing up in cosplay, and participating in themed events both online and in-person. The celebration highlights Mario’s cultural impact over decades, bringing together communities of enthusiasts who share their love for the character, his adventures, and the joy of gaming.
