Fusing physical wellness with a vital social mission, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya spearheaded the 94th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle at Namo Ghat. Centered on the theme Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat, the event mobilized over 500 cyclists and 1,000 community members alongside Asian Games medallists Prachi Chaudhary, Parul Chaudhary, Jay Kumar, and Raj Kumar Pal to advocate for a drug-free, healthy nation.
The morning kicked off with a holistic wellness routine featuring a peaceful meditation session by Dr. Nivedita Shreyans of the Heartfulness Institute, followed by a Kathak dance presentation and an energetic Zumba workout. Addressing the energetic crowd, Dr. Mandaviya urged the youth to integrate daily exercise into their lives before leading participants in taking the Nasha Mukt Bharat pledge. The Minister then rode at the front of a 5.5-kilometer cycle rally from Namo Ghat to Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, spreading the message of fitness and youth empowerment across the streets of Varanasi.
