Chapslee Junior School organised its Annual Exhibition with full enthusiasm and zeal. Besides art and craft displays, there were Science, Maths and Computer displays as well. The Chief Guest was Director Principal Pranoti Singh. The academics and craft exhibition had a Fairyland, a combined effort of the English Department in which characters from different fairy tales had come to life. The message being conveyed was ‘Reading Completes Us’.
The Mathematics Department had put up a great show with mind games, mental arithmetic, logic and reasoning. The challenging spirit of mathematics prevailed in the room. ‘Save Wildlife’ was the message conveyed by the students of Class 8 in the science exhibition. Various working models like the solar system, vacuum cleaner, science quiz also held the interest of all. Besides one could spot a periscope, a windmill, and the water cycle.
The Computer exhibition ranged from the evolution of computers to the various softwares, virus, generations, different types of printers to the html and the Internet. The evolution of the voting process and its relevance in present times was the theme of the Social Science exhibition as students explicitly explained the voting process in the country.
The art and craft exhibits were full of variety. From Classes Nursery to Eight, the students had prepared different items from paper folding to knitting and best out of waste products. The art and craft exhibition was an absolute treat for the eyes.
The Director Principal congratulated the staff and students for their stupendous effort and new ideas. Principal Sudershan Dogra said that the Annual Exhibition gives an opportunity to students to represent the content in books practically and learn in the process besides giving them oodles of confidence as they explain their work.
