e-KYC for Ration Cards – Here’s How to Do It Easily!

As per the guidelines of the Govt. of India, the State Government has initiated e-KYC of PDS beneficiaries to streamline and enhance the customer identity verification process and transparency in ration distribution, so that only eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits of government schemes. In this regards, the Food and Civil Siupplies department has already issued direction to the field functionaries to complete the process of 100 percent e-KYC of beneficiaries in a time bound manner.

A official spokesperson of the department said that to facilitate the PDS beneficiaries, the department has made provision to complete the e-KYC process through the through ePoS at Fair Price Shop by visiting the any fair price shop in the State using Aadhaar based finger biometric authentication, or through Web Application by visiting LokMitra Kendra (CSC) anywhere in the State/Country using Aadhaar based fingerprint/IRIS biometric authentication, or themselves through Android Based Mobile Application “eKYC PDS HP” by using Aadhaar based face biometric authentication.

Hence, non-compliant beneficiaries are informed to complete their eKYC through the above mentioned modes. The beneficiaries may also contact on Toll-free number 1967 / 1800-180-8026 to seek telephonic guidance for the redressal of  their problems, if any, being faced in completing their e-KYC or may contact the nearest DEPOT Holder / FPS.
