Meet the Young Leaders! At St. Thomas’ School

Student Council was formed in St. Thomas’ School, Shimla today on 22nd April 2025. The program was presided over by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty and Vice-Principal Mrs. Sharon Nanda. The members of the council took oath before the Principal and assumed office. Gauri Bhardwaj was elected as the Head Girl and Yash Thakur as the Head Boy of the school.

Along with this, Riddhima was elected as the Captain of Chinar House, Atirath Singh Rana as the Captain of Kasturi House, Divyanshi Himta as the Captain of Shipkila House and Akshit Chauhan as the Captain of Toshqui House. In sports, Ashutosh Kaushal was elected as Boys Sports Captain and Sudiksha Negi as Girls Sports Captain.

Apart from this, Sakshi Verma was elected as the Head of Tourism Club, Isha as the Head of Philately Club/Postage Stamp Collection Club and Divyansh Sharma as the NCC Head in the School Council. On the formation of the Students Council of St. Thomas’ School, Principal Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty motivated the members of the council to work according to the rules of the school and to play their role in the school with discipline.

Principal Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty congratulated the students and encouraged them to carry out their duties with discipline, sincerity, and integrity. She emphasized the importance of leadership and teamwork in shaping a responsible school community.
