The HP government has announced that state pensioners can submit their life certificates and other required documents from July 1 to September 30, 2025, in accordance with the H.P. Treasury Rules and Finance Department guidelines.

A spokesperson from the Finance Department stated that pensioners must download the life certificate form from the official Treasury Department website (http://himkosh.hp.nic.in), fill it out, get it attested, and submit it at any district treasury.

Alternatively, pensioners can generate a digital life certificate using biometric authentication at NIC Centres, district treasuries, or Common Service Centres (CSCs) through the Jeevan Pramaan portal (https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in). Digital certificates generated via Aadhaar-based authentication will be considered valid.

If a pensioner cannot use the Jeevan Pramaan portal, they may submit a physical life certificate from himkosh.hp.nic.in along with a copy of their Aadhaar for seeding, if not done previously.

Importantly, pensioners who submit their certificate using the digital Jeevan Pramaan or CSC method will not need to visit the treasury office in future years. Annual biometric verification through the Jeevan Pramaan portal will suffice, and the digital certificate will remain valid for one year.
