Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), Capt. Rameshwar Singh Thakur, today presented the 54th Annual Report (2024–25) of the Commission to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan. The occasion was graced by Commission Members Col. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Dr. Anju Sharma, and senior officials including Secretary Nivedita Negi and Joint Secretary Chhavi Nanta.
The Governor congratulated the Commission’s team for their dedicated work and lauded the progress made in achieving institutional goals over the past year.
Capt. Thakur briefed the Governor on key developments and reforms undertaken by the Commission. He noted that HPPSC has introduced several institutional and technological reforms in recent years aimed at enhancing efficiency, ensuring greater transparency, and aligning recruitment processes with the demands of the digital era.
“These initiatives have not only streamlined operations but also strengthened public trust in the Commission’s integrity,” he remarked. “The report is a testament to our commitment to upholding constitutional values and promoting good governance.” Secretary to the Governor, C.P. Verma, was also present during the meeting.
The report reflects HPPSC’s ongoing transformation into a more responsive and transparent public institution, focused on merit-based recruitment and administrative excellence.
