The Rotary Club Shimla Hill Queens is proud to share two heartwarming initiatives carried out to support and uplift young students in Shimla.

Recently, the club had the privilege of distributing track suits to 34 students at the Government Middle School, Kachi Ghati. For many students, a school uniform is not just a necessity—it is a source of pride, dignity, and identity. By providing proper attire, we aim to boost their confidence and help them walk into school with their heads held high. This small step can make a big difference in empowering children and encouraging regular school attendance.

In addition, under the district project “Nanhe Deepak”, our club distributed 34 school bags to students at Sankat Mochan School. This initiative was designed to provide essential educational support, promoting both learning and well-being. Having access to basic school supplies is a critical part of a child’s academic journey, and we are honored to contribute to their growth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the members and volunteers who made these efforts possible. Your compassion and dedication have created a tangible impact in the lives of these young learners.

Members present during the initiatives:

  • PP Rtn. Surbhi Karol

  • Rtn. Dr. Anita Sood

  • Rtn. Dr. Bhavna Sood

  • Rtn. Abbu Arora

  • Rtn. Gurpreet Kaur Sondh

  • Rtn. Harpreet Kaur Sembi

  • Rtn. Puja Goyal

  • Intern Kavya Arora

We are proud to play our part in shaping the future of these children and reaffirm our commitment to supporting their education and personal growth. Let us continue working together to nurture and empower the next generation of leaders.
