In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and support, Bollywood actor and proud Himachali daughter Priti Zinta has contributed ₹30 lakh towards ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood- and landslide-affected regions of Mandi and Kullu districts.

The announcement was made by a lead volunteer involved in the humanitarian mission, who expressed gratitude, saying, With Waheguru Ji’s blessings, our sewa (service) for humanity is now being recognised and appreciated across the state. Priti Zinta’s contribution, along with the support of her IPL team Punjab Kings and friends, is a big encouragement for us.”

The team has already been actively working on the ground in Mandi’s Siraj region and has now shifted its focus to Kullu district, including Banjar, Sainj, and other severely affected areas, where many families are still in urgent need of help.

Earlier, the group had announced a total relief commitment of ₹50 lakh, and today’s contribution from Priti Zinta marks a significant portion of that ongoing support.

A press conference is scheduled at 3:00 PM today in Shimla, where further action plans and will be detailed. Following the media briefing, the team will immediately proceed to Kullu and Mandi to continue their efforts on the ground.

The spokesperson concluded by once again thanking Priti Zinta for her generous support, calling it a true reflection of her deep connection to her roots and a strong message of compassion and unity for Himachal Pradesh in its time of need.
