As part of the Rashtriya Military School’s ongoing Centenary Celebrations, the 133 Eco Task Force organized a large-scale plantation drive at RMS Chail. The event was held under the national theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A Tree in the Name of the Mother).
General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), personally planted a sapling, highlighting the Indian Army’s dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable community development.
This initiative, in collaboration with the 133 Eco Task Force and RMS Chail students, represents a shared commitment to fostering a greener and more resilient Himachal Pradesh.
The 133 Eco Task Force, recognized for its extensive afforestation and disaster management efforts across the state, actively involved students, faculty, and local dignitaries in the plantation drive. The event emphasized the importance of preserving the region’s delicate ecology and encouraged the youth to take up environmental stewardship.
