Congress leader and Jogindernagar Assembly constituency candidate Jiwan Thakur met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla to discuss key developmental issues concerning the constituency.

During the meeting, Jiwan Thakur demanded the introduction of CBSE curriculum in three Government Senior Secondary Schools — Jogindernagar, Chontra, and Ladbhadol — to provide quality education and align local institutions with national academic standards.

The Chief Minister assured that the demand would be considered sympathetically.

On the occasion, Jiwan Thakur also handed over a cheque of ₹11,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, contributed by Mahila Mandal Tikkru from his area. CM Sukhu expressed gratitude for the thoughtful donation, noting that such gestures significantly support those in need.
