17th Tribal Youth Exchange Program Hosted in Mumbai

The 17th Tribal Youth Exchange Program is underway at the Police Training Center, Marol, Mumbai. Organized by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and coordinated by the Maharashtra State Police, the program started on 27 October and will conclude on 2 November 2025.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, attended the program today and addressed the participating tribal youth. He emphasized the pivotal role of young tribal leaders in shaping a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047 and encouraged them to contribute actively through skill development and digital empowerment initiatives.

Dr. Mandaviya highlighted the Mera Yuva Bharat portal, urging participants to establish a digital presence and explore opportunities related to jobs, skill development, competitions, and sharing meaningful work and ideas.

The event was also attended by Pravin Kumar Padwal, Special Inspector General of Police, Training Department, Maharashtra State Police; Anup Ingole, District Youth Officer, My Bharat Mumbai; Ravindra Dalvi, Principal, Police Training Center, Marol; and Yatin Bangera of the Judo Association.

This program reflects the Government of India’s ongoing commitment to empower tribal youth with knowledge, skills, and opportunities for holistic development and active participation in nation-building.
