Rajsav Lok Adalats Clear Major Revenue Backlog

The State Government announced today that a total of 4,62,590 pending revenue cases have been resolved between October 2023 and October 2025 through its flagship initiative, ‘Rajsav Lok Adalats’. These resolved cases include 3,85,634 mutations, 24,044 partitions, 42,123 demarcations, and 11,789 corrections in revenue records.

According to the government spokesperson, the initiative has provided major relief to landowners by ensuring the timely disposal of long-pending revenue matters. The Rajsav Lok Adalats are being organized at Sub-Tehsil and Tehsil levels across the State on the last two days of every month, making the process more accessible and convenient for the public. As a result, a growing number of people are utilizing this platform to address their grievances.

He highlighted that under the leadership of CM Sukhu, the Government has introduced several reforms in the Revenue Department focused on enhancing efficiency and speeding up the resolution of land-related cases. Since their launch on 30 October 2023, the Rajsav Lok Adalats have significantly accelerated the disposal of revenue matters, greatly benefiting landowners.

Acting on the Chief Minister’s directives, the Revenue Department has been operating in mission mode to clear backlogs and offer long-awaited relief to citizens. The Government remains committed to delivering quality, accessible, and time-bound services, aligning with its goal of ensuring good governance. The initiative has also helped people save considerable time and money by reducing the need for repeated visits to revenue offices.

The spokesperson added that the strong public response to the Rajsav Lok Adalats reflects growing trust in the initiative. The State Government continues to prioritize swift resolution of revenue cases, reinforcing its dedication to easing the hardships faced by the common man.
