Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi today unveiled the Horticulture Activity Calendar under the Asian Development Bank-funded HP-SHIVA Project.
The minister stated that the calendar outlines monthly activities, providing farmers, field officers, implementing agencies, and stakeholders with advance information on proposed works. This initiative is aimed at improving planning, coordination, and timely execution of horticulture projects across the state.
The HP-SHIVA Project focuses on cluster-based horticulture development, promoting high-density plantations, improving irrigation and crop management, enhancing value addition, and strengthening market linkages in Himachal Pradesh.
