CM Sukhu chaired a meeting of the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) Board of Directors today. He directed that remuneration for outsourced employees be disbursed by the 7th of every month to prevent any financial hardship.
The Chief Minister highlighted HPSEDC’s financial performance, noting a turnover of ₹275 crore with a net profit of ₹15 crore in 2023-24, and ₹300 crore with a net profit of ₹18 crore in 2024-25. As of 31st December 2025, the Corporation has recorded business worth ₹199.25 crore in the current financial year.
CM Sukhu also instructed the revision of technical charges for tenders: 5% for tenders up to ₹5 crore, 3% for tenders between ₹5 crore and ₹10 crore, and 2% for tenders above ₹10 crore.
The Board approved renaming HPSEDC as Himachal Pradesh Electronics Manpower and Overseas Employment Corporation, reflecting its expanded role in facilitating overseas employment opportunities for youth.
